Avery is 2 months today. She is growing by the minute. We had our well checkup today and everything is looking great! Avery was such a flirt with Dr. Henry and was flashing her gums the entire time. He says that she can go off of the acid reflux medicine as long as I can regulate my diet to fit her needs. That works for me, I couldn't stand giving her that medicine. For now, I am off dairy, soy, nuts, shellfish, and eggs. Avery is now 11lbs 12 oz (75th percentile), 23 inches (75th percentile) and her head circumfrence is 15.25 (50th percentile). The doctor was impressed with her overall weight gain since birth! She received vaccinations today and I'll have to admit she was not a fan. She was screaming so loud and turning beet red when the nurse was giving the shot, she continued to show her dis-appreciation while we were paying by continuing to let out a whiny sigh every few minutes. Avery still has blueish - gray eyes and we are so curious to see if she will keep that color or what color they will be. We had a few first this month, we had our first real smile. We also had our first sleep for more than 3 hours for Mom and Avery. Thank goodness for the nap nanny, it helps her to sleep at an incline to aid with the acid reflux.
