We finally made Avery a doctor appointment today to resolve some questions. At around 2 weeks, Avery began fussing quite a bit more, especially at night time. She seemed uncomfortable throughout the day, by making tight movements, curling her legs up near her belly, and grunting like an old man.
Her pediatrician seems to think she may have acid reflux and a protein intolerance. Our first steps are to cut out all dairy in my diet. If that doesn't seem to help the next item is medicine on a daily basis. The last option is to then elimate soy, eggs, nuts, shellfish, and wheat out of my diet. It's very common and most infants grow out of it by 6 to 9 months.
