Vegas and Terry Fator

Randy and I took a mini vacation to Las Vegas last week. The main reason we were going was to see Terry Fator, winner of America's Got Talent Season 2. He was amazing!!! For those of you who don't turn on a TV: Terry Fator is a ventriloquist who does celebrity impersonations and sings songs. We had seats about 5 rows back and he told us at the beginning of the show that if we had any cameras with us, feel free to tape short sessions throughout the show. I took full advantage of this. Here are a few of my favorite clips of him that I was able to catch on tape. If your at work, put on your headphones, so you don't get in trouble :)

His most amazing impression is of Etta James singing "At Last". Unfortunately, he began the show with this song and had not made the announcement that is was okay to video tape. But, thank goodness, for technology. I was able to find it on youtube. Trust me, you don't want to miss this. Terry Fator sings At Last.

By the way, the videos do not even touch on how awesome he is live and the wide assortment of singers he can do. Everyone should go see him and let me know when you do because I will come along :)

In addition to Terry Fator, we also saw Cirque du Soleil's "Zumanity". That show was also very good, but was not one of my favorite Cirque Shows. We walked around the hotels, played slots, ate good food. I tried my hand at Roulette and won $40 on a .50 cent bet, by choosing lucky number 13 (Reese's Birthday). Within 5 spins the ball landed on my number choice again!! Thank you Reese!!!

One of my absolute favorite things to do in Vegas is to watch the Bellagio Fountains. They are breathtaking and I could watch them all day long. They play music and the fountains dance along with the rhythm. They begin playing songs around 3 in the afternoon and go until midnight, they are every 15 minutes or so. Here is a little taste of the famous Bellagio dancing fountains. The videotapes below are amazing, but it is nothing like seeing them live. I don't own a wide enough lens to capture all of the fountains in the 8-acre lake, but hope this clip gives you an idea. At the end of the second video when the fountains "blast off" they reach to the height of the Bellagio Hotel. The videos are each about 2 minutes, the second is just a continuation of the first! Make sure to watch it on company time. What else would you do at work??
