Getting around

Reese has learned that besides rolling from back to front/ front to back, that scooting on his legs and pushing forward can get him where he wants to go also, or get him the object he wants. It has been so neat to watch him begin to develop his early crawling stages. Here is a video of his "scooting" abilities.



He has been "scooting" since the beginning of January. He does it in his crib but has not mastered the skill well enough yet to get himself out of the corner when stuck. Usually, Mom or Dad has to save him and place him back at the other end of the crib and hope he falls asleep before making it back to the other side. This video was recorded yesterday. As of today, he climbed up on his knees and hands and started rocking back and forth. He did this a couple of times but of course I was not ready with the video camera (I should have it attached to me at all times). Hopefully he will do it again soon and I can upload that video as well.
