I am back at the
hotel after viewing an awesome launch. The weather and the view could not have been more perfect. There was a gorgeous moon out and clear skies. We viewed from the causeway approximately 6 or 8 miles away from the launch pad. It was a night launch and everyone was telling me how fast it would happen so I didn't take any pictures so that I could enjoy the view. The pictures posted on here are officially "stolen" from Wikipedia. I did however hold the video camera to show the launch. When Endeavour began to lift off of the launch pad the entire area turned orange and it was brighter than a sunny day. You can check out some really cool pictures and other video (that doesn't make you sick from all the movement) on the NASA website by clicking here STS-126 mission. As most of you who follow my blog can guess, Reese slept through the entire thing. I didn't mind because I didn't want the noise or the lights to scare him and I got to focus on the view while he was nestled in his stroller.
